Jackson’s gift delights me. I loved this book. Good grief, the woman can write and tell a story like nobody’s business. I wonder what her teachers thought of her abilities when she was in elementary school. Former teacher here, just wondering. I hope she keeps writing. Such a joy to read her work.

A Gentleman in Moscow, Rules of Civility, This Is the Way It Always Is, Someone Else’s Love Story and The Lovebird are among the delightful books I’ve read this summer. Clever plots, fascinating characters, wonderful dialog. All left me in awe of their creators.
