Climate change in the Arctic

From the Earth Rangers:

“Climate change affects the quality of snow in the Arctic. Snow is now wetter and heavier than before, taking a toll on burrowing animals like lemmings that have to use more energy to dig tunnels. As lemming populations change, the predators that rely on lemmings for food, like snowy owls, are also impacted.

One of the most important things we can all do to slow down climate change is to lower our energy use. That’s why we want Earth Rangers to help us catch the 7 energy-wasters hiding in our homes. http://www.earthrangers.com/operation-conservation/
