Really very, VERY pleased to have shaved three minutes off my mile since I started swimming five days a week — probably 10 weeks ago. Really struck, though, by how necessary it is (for me) to swim at least 5X a week to keep my endurance up. If I miss a couple of days, I feel it.
Not fast, really. Chugging along at 32-minute miles — with fins. Still, very pleased. Moving in the water keeps me afloat. And, hoping to do some swims in Lake Erie and Lake Huron, summer 2015.
