Exquisite — and ordinary

Like today, for example.

The birds singing me awake early this morning. The breezes on their light dance through my house. The gentle sway of branches, at this point, laden with leaves. A neighbor mowing her lawn. A young father making his way to the curb with tomorrow’s refuse.

The ordinary life is quite lovely. Each movement bears a story.

I believe the line between here and there is very, very thin.

    • How is it in Norway, Cindi? I think my friend and I were there in July — so pretty at that time. Well, beautiful always, right? But I mean the weather. Picturing Bergen’s hills and lovely rooftops.
