Anna Quindlen

She really was a delight last week — funny, witty, intelligent. We were rapt, imagining what all that writing success feels like. Hers started early; by age 24, she was writing for the NYT. Self-aware and insightful, she really has been the voice of a generation of women. My favorite part of her talk was when she advocated for embracing change. Didn’t take notes but do recall feeling touched when she talked about the differences among her daughter’s friends and her own generation of women. Seemed to me she’s embraced her own journey. Good for her.
